Hard Shell Roof Top Tents

As you ponder vehicular shelters questioning the facets and qualities you might want to start with realizing there are two types of Roof Top Tent.  Soft top or “A” Frame Roof Top Tents and Hard Shell Roof Top Tents. Out of the two the Hard Shell Roof Top Tent is considered the “premium” choice.  The Hard Shell RTT’s are quicker and more convenient to deploy.  The HSRTT’s are considered to be much more aerodynamic and stylish.  Some people enjoy the “A” frame RTT’s more than the Hard Shell RTT’s because of the “look” of a tree house.  The Hard Shell Roof Top Tents are more money than the Soft Top Tents but customers who own both say that the Bigfoot Hard Top Roof Top Tent is worth it and held it’s value.  It’s amazing how much people can do with their car once they have created a sleeping space.

Hard Shell Tents are made from fiberglass.  Fiberglass is material made from long strands of specially treated glass woven together to create durable bonds. Resin is one of several types of binder used for fillers and adhesives. The two are mixed together to make fiberglass resin, which is a strong, yet pliable, material used in boats, car body repair, snowmobiles, jet skis, snowboards, pole vault poles, bathtubs and many other items where strength and lightweight are required. Objects made from fiberglass mats bonded with fiberglass resin can withstand great stress and bounce back into shape.
